A ranar Larabar da ta gabata ne babban jojin Najeriya (CJN), Mai shari’a Ariwoola, ya rantsar da alkalai 22 na kotun daukaka kara a babban dakin taron kotun kolin Najeriya da ke Abuja.
Da take jawabi a wajen bikin, CJN ta kuma bayyana cewa, hukumar kula da harkokin shari’a ta kasa (NJC) ta kaddamar da tsarin yin alkalan da ba su dace ba, wadanda ke ba da hukunce-hukuncen yaudara da kuma cin karo da juna, domin fuskantar sakamakon “halayensu na kyama da kyama”.
Ya bayyana halin da suke ciki a matsayin abin kunya ga bangaren shari’a kuma ba za a yi la’akari da su ba.
Ya bukaci sabbin alkalan da su kasance masu gaskiya, kada su karkace su bi tafarkin batanci amma dole ne su yanke hukunci kamar yadda tsarin mulki ya tanada.
An rantsar da sabbin alkalan kotun daukaka kara tare da wasu alkalai 11 na babbar kotun birnin tarayya Abuja.
Daga cikin wadanda aka rantsar akwai matar Ministan babban birnin tarayya, Eberechi Wike; da kuma Mai shari’a Donatus Okorowo na babbar kotun tarayya da ke Abuja, da sauran alkalai.
Sabbin alkalan sun hada da Abdullahi Muhammad Liman daga jihar Nasarawa; Abiodun Azeem Akinyemi daga jihar Ogun; Olukayode Adegbola Adeniyi daga jihar Oyo; Zainab Bage Abubakar daga jihar Kebbi; Isaq Mohammed Sani daga jihar Kaduna; Lateef Babajide Lawal-Akapo daga jihar Legas; da Ngozika Okaisabor daga jihar Imo.
Sauran sun hada da Ruqayat Oremei Ayoola daga jihar Kogi; Polycarp Terna Kwahar daga jihar Benue; Fadawa Umaru daga jihar Borno; Oyewumi Oyejoju Oyebiola daga jihar Oyo; Ntong Festus Ntong daga jihar Akwa Ibom; Nehizena Idemudia Afolabi daga jihar Edo; da Nnamdi Okwy Dimgba daga jihar Abia.
