The Niger Republic junta has ordered the country’s Arm Forces to return to the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) after pulling out a year ago in the aftermath of toppling democracy in July 2023, abandoning the cooperation, following a threat to invade the country by the President Bola Tinubu-led Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Soldiers from the 3 Battalion of the Nigerian Army raided a training school for internet fraud activities known as “HK” (Hustle Kingdom) in an Estate in Effurun, Delta State with 123 suspects arrested from the academy for cybercrime. The suspects were apprehended at the Army Estate in Effurun and subsequently handed over to the Ekpan Police Divisional Headquarters in Uvwie Local Government Area.
