Katsina State Chairman Jamaatul Izalatul Bid’ah Wa’ikamatus Sunnah, Sheikh Dr. Yakubu Musa Hassan has expressed dismay over the attitude of making mischievous comments against Islamic Scholars.
Sheikh Dr. Yakubu Musa was speaking while briefing newsmen on the increasing rate of unwarranted attacks on Islamic scholars.
According to the Chairman JIBWIS Katsina State, making mischievous comments against Ulamas is against the teaching of Islam and Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him.
Sheikh Dr. Yakubu Musa particularly expressed dismay over the attitude of those casting aspersion on the Islamic Scholars more especially through the social media platforms.
He pointed out that those with such acts should remember that they will account on the statements made on any Islamic Scholar in the hereafter, as such, they should remain very cautions in making negative comments.
Sheikh Dr. Yakubu disclosed that nowadays some people have the attitude of sponsoring unpatriotic youths to make negative comments on Islamic Scholars with the intention of achieving thier personal goals.
The State Chairman JIBWIS therefore reminded such youth to remember that such acts will not do any thing rather than tarnish the image of Islam.
The Islamic Scholar also used the opportunity to remind leaders that they will give account on how they run the affairs of the people in the hereafter.
The state JIBWIS Chairman also draw the attention of youth to seek both western and Islamic knowledged with the intention of earning a living, not just to secure white collar jobs.
Similarly Sheikh Yakubu Musa advocated the need for traders to fear Allah by subsidizing the prices of their goods to reduce the difficulties being faced by the masses more especially at this trying times.
While praying for Allah to bring an end to the current predicaments facing the state and the nation as a whole, Sheikh Dr. Yakubu Musa Hassan stressed the need for more unity among the Islamic Scholars for more development of the religion.
