Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) Kwara state Chapter congratulates Dr. Afeez Abolore on his redeployment as the commissioner for Agriculture and Rural development.
A statement by the state Coordinator of RIFAN, Mallam Mohammed Salihu says his posting to the ministry would further strengthen the strategy adopted to improve food production in the state..
He says the commissioner possess the expertise that would enable the state government achieve it dream of ensuring food sufficiency .
Mallam Mohammed says Dr.Abolore’s contribution in the former ministry of solid minerals will guide him in repositioning the new ministry for more efficiency.
The statement commends the state governor for supporting bold reforms and huge efforts to ensure food security in the state.
The statement urges him to replicate the different economic initiatives used in the former ministry to ensure better productivity in the sector.
It assures the determination of RIFAN members to support his efforts in the task of taking the ministry of agriculture and Rural development to a greater level.
