Katsina state government has reiterated its commitment towards ensuring the successful take off of the North west Federal University of Medical science located in Funtua local government Area of the state.
The Commissioner for Higher Technical and Vocational education, Alh Isah Muhammad Musa, disclosed this while inspecting the on going renovation at the take off campus of the university in Funtua town.
Alh Isah Musa revealed that the site is being coordinated by qualified engineers who strictly followed the agreed bill of quantity and environmental impacts assessments.
He charged the contractors handling the projects to ensure quality work for the smooth take off of the university in the site.
Earlier Engineer Abbas Labaran Mashi who took commissioner round the project sites said the site would be refurbished with necessary facilities that include water supply, security lights, drainages and flowers landscaping.
Engineer Labaran revealed that all arrangements have been concluded for the construction of staff quarters, students’ hostels, laboratories, libraries and cafeteria for the university community to feel at home and concentrate on their studies.
