Parents Are To Educate The Children In Islamic and Western Way, As Ustaz Haroon Bolakale Wins Qur’an Competition In Kwara

Parents have been urged to ensure adequate training of their children in Islamic and Western education to enable them become good leaders in future.

Dr Mahmud Danjuma a lecturer at the Department of Arabic and transnational Studies, University of Ilọrin, while delivering a lecture at the closing ceremony of Kwara State Qur’an Recitation Competition organized by the State Committee on National Qur’an Recitation Committee held in llorin, Kwara state.

He charged Muslims to uphold the Qur’an to overcome their challenges.

Dr. Dajuma urged wealthy Muslims to always support Qur’an Memorizers with their resources to received abundant reward from God.

The Guest Lecturer counselled participants not to memorize Qur’an for material gain or prizes but to establish connection with their creator

He commended governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his unflinching support to the Committee at all time .

In his remark, Chairman of Occasion Dr. Abdulkadir Tunji Nagode who was represented by Bolakale Aiyegun encouraged parents to bequeath both Islamic and western education on their children and wards to earn Allah’s mercy.

He commended the participants for choosing the right path of Qur’an memorization

In his welcome address, Chairman, Kwara state Committee on National Qur’an Recitation Competition, Alhaji Shehu Abdulgafar said the competition showcased winners of first and second positions in all categories of the state competition.

He applauded the state government for it’s support and allocation of land to the committee to establish Centre For Qur’an Memorization in the state

In his address, the Emir of Ilọrin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, represented by the Balogun Alanamu of Ilọrin, Alhaji Abubakar Atolagbe Jos commended the participants for putting effort to memorize the Qur’an.

He advised them to ensure full usage of the knowledge learnt for the benefit of mankind.

Meanwhile, first position winners of the categories in the just concluded State Competition, Ustaz Haroon Hassan Bolakale from Kwara Central and others are to represent Kwara State in the National Qur’an Memorization Competition billed for 18th of December in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State Capital.
