The Member of the House of Representatives representing Dutsinma/Kurfi Federal Constituency, Hon. Aminu Balele Kurfi (Dan Arewa, has extended his condolences to family, people of Kurfi, and the entire Katsina State, on the demise of the late District Head of Kurfi, Dr. Alh. Amadu Kurfi.
Alhaji Aminu Dan-Arewa described the death of Maradin Katsina, as a great loss not to the people of Kurfi or Katsina State but a loss to the entire Nation.
He said when Maradin Katsina was the former Chairman of the Federal Electoral Commission (FEDECO), he contributed immensely towards the development of democracy of the country.
Dan-Arewa recalled that the deceased played a vital role during general elections that ushered in the late former President, Alhaji Shehu Aliyu Shagari.
Also the late Alhaji Amadu Kurfi served as the former Permanent Secretary and Sole Administrator of the Kaduna Local Government in the defunct Kaduna State. May Allah forgive him, have mercy on him, and grant him a place in the highest rank of Jannatul Firdausi.
