Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Governor Radda emphasized that the stations would enhance safe and reliable transit options while fostering business and economic activities beneficial to community members across the state.

“These facilities represent our administration’s commitment to mitigating economic hardship following the fuel subsidy removal,” the Governor stated.

Governor Radda revealed the state government’s initiative to procure 40 new sixteen-seater Toyota buses for KTSTA. He further directed the authority’s management to maintain subsidized transport fares, particularly on intra-state routes, recognizing their critical importance to citizens’ daily activities.

The General Manager of KTSTA, Alhaji Haruna Musa Rugoji, disclosed that the authority invested ₦50.6 million in the construction of both stations. The Ingawa station was constructed at ₦26 million, while the Mashi station cost ₦24.6 million.

The facilities feature modern amenities including mosques, boreholes, and solar-powered inverter systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Alhaji Rugoji expressed gratitude to Governor Radda for his trust in the authority’s management and to the Mashi Local Government for providing the land for the project.
