As IMMUNIZATION against Polio enters its last day in Daura and Sandamu Local Government, the exercise has recorded success in the two respective areas.
In Daura, the Primary Health Care coordinator Mujitaba Bala Zango said about seventy nine thousand one hundred and twelve eligible children have been immunized across the eleven wards.
Mujitaba Bala Zango who was represented by the Health Educator, Lawal Tijjani Shargalle said the PHC department has received eighty three thousand one hundred vaccine. He said about seventy three house to house team and twenty nine special team took part in the exercise.
In Sandamu, about fifty four thousand seven hundred and seventy nine children were Immunized across the area.
The PHC coordinator, Lawal Aminu, stated this through the State Technical Facilitator, Abdulraman Yahya.
Lawal Aminu said over eighty percent success were recorded with the giant effort of traditional leaders, health personnels and other stake holders.
