The Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation Agency, Federal Information Center Katsina has organized a one day sensitization program on Federal Government Intervention program.
The Program was held at the conference hall of Federal Secretariat Kano road where Head of Various MDAs, Lecturers from Tertiary institution and non governmental organizations were in attendance.
In her welcome address, the Head of Federal Information Center Katsina, Hajiya Amina Bello Kofar Bai said the program was to inform participants on the Federal Government Intervention program.
At the Occasion Malam Adamu Muhmmad Abubakar from department of Public Administration, Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic presented a paper titled “Current Innovative Federal Government Intervention Programs for Poverty Reduction, Employment Growth, Educational Development and Welfare Improvement for Nigerians under the Current Economic Challenges, their Origins, Relevance and Performance effectiveness.”
Also speaking, Dr. Ibrahim Musa Gani, Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency spoke extensively on the responsibilities of the agency towards making teaming youth become self-employed in the state.
In his remark the state Director National Orientation Agency NOA Katsina state Office, Alhaji Muktar Tsagem appealed to the participants to forwards what they learned during the orientation program to those that were not opportuned to attend.
In separates remarks, the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Companion FM Katsina Engr. Muktar Abubakar Dutsinma, and that of Representative of GM Nigeria Television Authority Katsina, Mal Abdullahi Umar said it is their collective responsibilities to inform the public on the Federal Government Intervention program.
