The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Katsina State Council wishes to extend its profound appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, Ph.D, on the well-deserved appointment of one of our members, Aminu Badaru Jikamshi, as a Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service.

This appointment once again confirms the commitment of His Excellency to merit-based appointments which have been the hallmark of his administration since inception on May 29, 2023.
These merit-based appointments have greatly improved efficiency in administration and service delivery in the state, as reflected in the numerous achievements of the Radda administration in the last sixteen months.
Meanwhile, by his appointment, Aminu Badaru Jikamshi joins the long list of NUJ members so far appointed by Malam Dikko Radda into his cabinet, which is an eloquent testament of his goodwill towards our profession and our members.
We deeply cherish this spirit of inclusion and we are proud to be part of the Radda administration in its quest to transform Katsina State.
