Katsina state Governor, Dikko Radda has extended warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2024 Maulud Nabbiy, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In his message, Governor Radda emphasized the significance of this blessed day, stating, “As we celebrate the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), I urge all Muslims to reflect deeply on his exemplary life, teachings, and the timeless values of compassion, peace, and unity that he embodied.
“This occasion serves as a reminder for us to rededicate ourselves to these noble principles and strive to emulate the Prophet’s character in our daily lives.”
The Governor added, “In these challenging times, the lessons of tolerance, forgiveness, and love for one another as taught by the Prophet (PBUH) are more crucial than ever.
“Let us use this opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood among all citizens.”
Governor Radda called on all Muslims to pray fervently for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Katsina State and Nigeria at large.
He emphasized the need for continued adherence to the Prophet’s teachings of peaceful coexistence, moral uprightness, and service to humanity.
“As we mark this joyous occasion, let us remember those less fortunate among us and extend our hands of fellowship and support to them. This is in line with the Prophet’s teachings on charity and compassion,” the Governor stated.
A statement by Governor Radda’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed added “Governor Radda wishes all Muslims a blessed Maulud celebration and prays that the occasion brings renewed faith, hope, and blessings to all.”
