Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Raɗɗa, PhD CON, has approved the appointment of Three New Permanent Secretaries for the State Civil Service.
Similarly, the Governor approved the Re-Deployment of some Permanent Secretaries to various Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Head of Civil Service, Abubakar Yaro Bindawa.
The New Permanent Secretaries are Abdul’aziz Abbah Umar, Abdullahi Ibrahim Tsiga and Aminu Badaru.
According to the statement, Masa’udu Mustapha Banye is moved from the Office of the Head of Civil Service to Ministry for Local Governments and Chieftaincy affairs, Ahmad Hassan Mashi from Department of Inter-Governmental Relations and Development Partners to Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and Muhammad Muhammad Rabi’u is posted to Ministry of Youth and Sports Development from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock development.
Similarly, Muheeb Ibrahim is moved from the Department of Banking and Finance to Local Government Service Commission, Abdul’aziz Abbah Umar is posted to the Department of Inter-Governmental Relations and Development Partners, Abdullahi Ibrahim Tsiga from the Office of the Head of Civil Service to Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development while Aminu Badaru is posted to the Department of Girl Child Education and Development.
The rest are Mika’ilu Surajo Muhammad who is moved from the Ministry of Youth and Social Development to Ministry of Higher, Technical and Vocational Education, Ummulkhairi Ahmad Bawa from the Ministry of Higher Education to Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
Other affected Permanent Secretaries include Shehu Maikano who is moved to Department of Banking and Finance, Lawal Suleiman Abdullahi from Local Government Service Commission to Office of the Head of Civil Service while Ibrahim Mu’azu Safana is moved from Ministry of Commerce to Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
All Handing Over and Taking over should be conducted on or before Wednesday 18th September 2024.
