The emergency meeting called by President Bola Tinubu to discuss issues surrounding the implementation of a new national minimum wage has ended without any conclusion with the organised labour.
It was learnt that the meeting had been adjourned till next week as the leadership of the labour unions maintained that there was need to report back to their members.
However, the President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero said the positions of N250,000 for Labour and N62,000 for the Federal Government still stood and negotiation will continue after consultations with relevant stakeholders next week.
