*Committee set 7 centres across the state
The Recruitment Examination Committee inaugurated by Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, last month to screen the hitherto auxiliary tutors, otherwise known as S-Power Teachers, engaged by the immediate past administration in the state has said plans are underway for the conduct of the examination and interview on Sunday, August 13.
The chairman of the committee, Dr. Sabiru Dahiru Yusuf, made this known in August 2, 2023, memo to the state Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education seeking permission to utilize some school lecture halls and classrooms across the state.
“The writing examination and interview is scheduled to hold in the seven old local government areas (Katsina, Dutsinma, Daura, Kankara, Mani, Funtua and Malumfashi) on Sunday August 13, 2023.
“Meanwhile, members of the committee will pay a working visit to the schools on Monday, 7th, August, 2023, to inspect the facilities so as to effectively plan for the smooth conduct of the examination and interview,” Yusuf stated.
