Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Radda, has thrown his weight behind the State Primary Health Care Agency, SPHCA, to recruit staff midwives, Director, Administration and Supplies in the agency, Dikko Bala K/Sauri, has said.

The SPHCA, supported by Basic Health Care Provision Fund, BHCPF, in it’s efforts to mitigate the increasing cases of maternal mortality and to strengthen the health system in the state, Bala K/Sauri further disclosed in a press statement, is expecting application letters from suitably qualified candidates not later than Monday, August 7th, 2023.

KATSINA MIRROR can reveal that the qualification / requirements comprised of this and several other items: Diploma / Certificate in Basic or Community Midwifery; updated / valid licence; candidates must be within the employment age; retired individuals need not apply and employed individuals not apply.

According to Bala K/Sauri, only successful candidate that meet the selection criteria would be invited for an interview.

He stressed that “once (a candidate is) engaged, a service level agreement and an agreement to work  in the particular facility with transfer must be signed.”

He added: “Interested  and qualified candidates are required to submit copies of their application letters, curriculum vitae and attached photocopies of relevant documents to the applications.”
