The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Katsina Command has announced plans to reinforce its mobile court to address traffic regulation in the state.
The State Commander, Corp Commander Aliyu Ma’aji, stated this during a visit to the secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Katsina.
According to Corp Commander Aliyu Maaji, the reinforcement of the mobile court will significantly reduce road traffic accidents in the state.
He emphasized the importance of the mobile court in enforcing traffic regulations and ensuring public safety.
The State Commander also acknowledged the crucial role of the NUJ in enlightening the public on road regulations and safety measures.
He expressed his appreciation for the union’s support and cooperation in promoting road safety awareness.
In response, the State Chairman of the NUJ Katsina State Council, Comrade Tukur Dan-Ali, assured the FRSC of maximum support and cooperation. He also commended the command’s intention to establish a media marshal corps in the sector.
The FRSC Katsina Command’s efforts to reinforce its mobile court and promote road safety awareness are part of the commission’s broader mandate to regulate and enforce road traffic safety in Nigeria.
