On Wednesday 29/1/2025, the Katsina State APC Deputy Chairman Alh. Bala Abu Musawa, together with the Jibia Local Government Area Council Chairman Hon. Surajo Ado, led the presentation of flags to the ten ward councillors in Jibia Local Government Area.
After the presentation of the flags, the State APC Deputy Chairman Alh. Bala Abu Musawa, delivered his speech at the event, where he began by expressing his joy that Allah SWT has shown him this very important day to present these flags to the candidates of the local government and other local governments as ordered by the party’s state leader
He continued by saying that “I left Musawa Local Government to come to Jibia specifically to present these flags to the candidates of this local government because of the friendship between me and the people of Jibia Local Government.
“Having met the candidate for the chairmanship of the local government, Hon. Surajo Ado, I know he is a good man because I am sure that Jibia Local Government is one of the right local governments for the candidate, because we worked together when he was the chairman of the party in this local government.
“I am sure that Hon. Surajo Ado, will not disappoint, a good man has been selected who will take Jibia Local Government forward.”
In his speech, the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Surajo Ado, thanked the people of the local government Jibia for the love and affection they show him, assuring them of a fair and just leadership that will strive to bring about progress in the local government.
While explaining the purpose of the meeting, the APC Chairman of Jibia Local Government Area, Hon. Nasiru Al’mustapha Danye, said that just as the party’s state chairman had directed that this meeting be held in every local government area, we have also gathered today to present this flag to our councilor candidates to enable them to start their campaign.
Many people expressed their gratitude during the flag-giving rally for the councilor candidates.
Finally, as is customary, the APC leader welcomed some members of the opposition PDP to the APC, citing their satisfaction with the governance style of the Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda PhD.
The flag-giving event was attended by key stakeholders in the local government, family members and friends.
