Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State has appealed to security operatives in the State to give maximun support and Co-oporation to state HISBA Board to discharge it mandate effectively.
The Governor made the appeal during the graduation and Passing Out Parade Ceremony of about 369 HISBA Corps Batch A 2024 /2025 held at College of Peace and Disaster Management Babbar Ruga Batsari Road in Katsina Metropolis.
Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda who was represented by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasiru Mu’azu Dan-Musa said, supporting HISBA Board will help in addressing immoralities in the society within the state.
Dr. Nasiru Mu’azu Dan-Musa stated that, the Dikko Radda led’s administration will not tolerate spread of immoral behaviour among citizens hence the need for all and sundry to support the move.
He acknowleged the contributions of HISBA Board under its State Commander General, Dr. Aminu Usman Abu Ammar in fighting social vices in the state.
In their separates good will messages, the Permanent Secretary Ministry for Religious Affairs Alhaji Umar Dutsi and the Assistant Comptroller General Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma appreciated the foresight of Governor Radda in establishing HISBA Board in the state.
Earlier State HISBA Board Commander, General Dr. Aminu Usman Abu Ammar said the duties of HISBA is to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong in the the society.
Dr. Abu Amar who expressed appreciation to the state governor for establishing the board and also giving it support, charged graduating HISBA Corps to be faithful and loyal and God fearing in discharging their duties.
High point of the event includes, pass, combat match, displayed martial art and drama presentation on the importance of HISBA board and its activities.
