Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Radda has signed the new Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), aimed at providing land security and promoting systematic urban development across the state.
Governor Radda signed the first batch of the Certificates today (Wednesday) at the State Government House, Katsina.
The Governor highlighted that Katsina State has become the first in the country to implement a sophisticated software-driven certification process.
He declared that the State Government will offer a six-month window for land owners to register their properties, including residential houses and farmlands.
The Governor also emphasized that the programme is comprehensive, covering both existing C of O holders and those seeking fresh registration. To encourage widespread participation.
