The Centre for Democracy and Development, CDD, has organized a two day Assignment and Feedback Training for Youth and Women on Transitional Justice, Peace building and Social Cohesion.
The Training was held in Katsina where participants were drawn from Batsari, Danmusa, Jibia and Kankara Local Government Areas.
Speaking to reporters in Katsina, The Assistant Program Officer CDD Katsina, Mrs. Hannah Aaron Jocob, said the theme of the Training was “Strengthening community resilience through Youth and Women engagement in Traditional Justice and Peace building.”
During the Training a consultant, Dr. John Dash, presented a paper tittled, “Impact of Harvest on what the participants learned in previous trainings and how to use it for the benefit of the society.”
In an interview with some of the participants, Bello Abubakar Batsari, Murjanatu Umar, Ibrahim from Danmusa, and Hajiya Rabi Muhammad from ministry of Women Affairs, they expressed appreciation to CDD over the training and promised to utilise what they learned for the benefit of the society.
