Katsina State Radio Organises Special Event to Boost Staff Morale and Award Retirees

The Commissioner, Ministry of Information and Culture, Dr. Bala Salisu Zango said the State Government is committed to improving the services of Katsina state radio to became a role model among media houses in the state.

The Commissioner disclosed this during a send-off ceremony in honour of ten retired staff of Katsina state radio services which held at the conference hall of the radio station.

The Commissioner who was represented by the Director of Information in the Ministry, Comrade Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali explained that the present state administration under Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, remain proud of the state radio and television in dissemination of information to the people of the state.

In a remarks, the Chairman Katsina State Radio and Television Service Board Alhaji Ahmed Abdulkadir, appreciated the retired staff for their hardwork, dedication and immence contribution toward the development of the Radio Station.

Earlier The General Manager Katsina state Radio, Alhaji Lawal Attahiru Bakori, stressed the importance of organising such an event, according to him, it serves as moral booster thereby increasing productivity among the staff.

On behalf of the Retired Staff, Malam Hassan Bako who commended the Management of the radio station for organizing the event, urged staff of the station to be dedicated to their duty for the development of the radio station and Katsina state in general.

Highpoint of the event includes presentation of certificates of excellence to the ten retired staff of the state radio who retired from January to date.
