Kano state government reopens Nuhu Bamalli maternity hospital

The Kano state government has provided adequate facilities for pregnant women and children immunisation at Nuhu Bamalli hospital of Kofar Nassarawa in Municipal local government area of Kano state.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated this while commissioning the hospital after completing its renovation to continue receiving births for pregnant women and vaccination for children.

He emphasized the importance of the hospital in taking care of the health of pregnant women and children.

Kano state government said that it has improved the hospital by renovating it and providing it with enough beds for admitting patients, installing lights and air conditioners in the patients rooms and offices of the hospital .

Governor Abba Kabir also called on the staff of the hospital to continue to take care of it in terms of making the hospital clean and its environment.

Also, he added that the Kano state government has already awarded contracts to renovate all the maternity and general hospitals in all the 44 local government areas across the state.

Our correspondent in the Kano State Government House, Garba Musa Hamza, reported that among those who accompanied the governor to commission the hospital were the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, the Chief of Staff of the State Government House, Alhaji Shehu Wada Sagagi, the state Commissioner of Health Alhaji Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, chairmen of Municipal and local government areas including Nassarawa local government area of the state and many more others.
