Katsina State ministry of youths and sports has assisted five youths with special needs and six others with cash assistance to improve their businesses.
The Permanent secretary of the ministry, Muhammad Rabiu Muhammad, presented the cash assistance to the benefiting youths on behalf of the commissioner, Aliyu Lawal Zakari.
Presenting the cash assistance, the permanent secretary Muhammad Rabiu Muhammad noted with appreciation the effort of the state governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda for donating the money to support the lives of the youths in order to stand on their feet.
Muhammad Rabiu Muhammad restated the commitment of the Ministry to continue empowering youths to become self reliant urging the beneficiaries to make judicious utilization of the money they received.
Earlier the Director, Youths from the Ministry, Sani Yahaya, says the eleven benefiting youths were assisted after they attended various skill acquisition training in Kano and Plateau state.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, Maryam Ahmad and Nasiru Yan’siliyu, expressed gratitude to the governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda for donating the money promising to make judicious use of the money they were given.
