Nigeria@64:  Radda preaches Patriotism, National Unity

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda has extended warm congratulations to all Nigerians, especially, people of the State, on the occasion of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.

In his Independence Day message, Governor Radda reflected on the journey of Nigeria, stating, “Today, we celebrate not just our freedom, but the indomitable spirit of unity and resilience that has propelled us through challenges and triumphs alike. As we commemorate this milestone, we renew our commitment to the ideals of our founding fathers and the promise of a greater Nigeria.”

Addressing the people of Katsina State, Governor Radda emphasized the importance of collective effort in nation-building.

He declared “Our strength lies in our diversity and our shared dreams for a prosperous future. Through our ‘Building Your Future’ agenda, we are laying the foundation for a Katsina that will be a beacon of hope and progress in our beloved nation.”

The Katsina Governor pinpointed key aspects of the “Building Your Future” agenda, focusing on education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and security, summing up “Our progress is evident in the numerous achievements we have made.”

He added “We have expanded access to quality education, improved healthcare facilities, created job opportunities through our agricultural and industrial initiatives, and strengthened security measures to ensure the safety of Katsina residents.”

Governor Radda called on   people of Katsina  state to embrace the spirit of patriotism and unity that Independence Day portrays.

His words “Let us channel the same spirit of determination and hope that guided our forebears in their quest for independence. With our joint efforts, we can overcome current challenges and build a Katsina State and a Nigeria that we can all be proud of.

“Let us stand united as brothers and sisters, bound by our shared heritage and aspirations of a prosperous and peaceful nation. As citizens of Katsina State, we have a unique responsibility to contribute to the progress of our state and nation. Let us embrace peace, harmony, and cooperation, and work tirelessly to build a brighter future for generations to come.”

Governor Radda reaffirmed his administration’s submission to transparent and inclusive governance, assuring “As we celebrate this Independence Day, I pledge to continue working hand in hand with all stakeholders to realise our shared vision of a prosperous Katsina State within a united and progressive Nigeria.”

As contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, the Governor wishes all Nigerians a happy Independence Day celebration and prays for peace, unity, and progress across the nation.
