Katsina State Police Commissioner, Aliyu Musa, on Friday, 13 September, 2024 decorated twelve (12) newly promoted officers.
The ceremony, held at the Police Officers’ Mess, Kangiwa Road, GRA, Katsina, saw the decoration of two (2) Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) promoted to Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) and ten (10) Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs).
The Police Commissioner, while congratulating the officers on their well-deserved promotions, thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun and the Police Service Commission (PSC) for finding the officers deserving of the promotion.
He urged them to continue demonstrating dedication, hard work, and commitment to duty as promotion signifies added responsibilities.
Speaking on behalf of promotees, DCP Halliru Aliyu thanked the IGP and PSC for finding them worthy of the elevation and pledged to rededicate themselves to duty,
He also promised that he and his newly promoted officers would uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
