Katsina State Independent Electoral Commission has notified the commencement of electioneering Campaigns on Saturday 14th this year for all political parties and their candidates.
This is contained in a statement by the commission’s Public Relation Officer, Shehu Sarki Idris and made available to our newsroom.
According to the statement, this is in accordance with the approved timetable for the conduct of the local government elections, schedule to hold on 15 February 2025.
The statement indicated that the commission’s activities are being guided by approved guidelines and the election’s timetable that where issue to public in February 2024.
The Statement equally reminds all political parties wishing to participant in the elections and their respective candidates on the need to adhere strictly to the stipulated guidelines as failure to adherence may led to disqualification of the candidate concerned.
