Kwara United Football Club, Ilorin has unveiled 35 players for the new football season.
Speaking during the unveiling ceremony at the Sugar Film Factory along Ajase Ipo road in Ilorin, the general manager of the football club, Mallam Bashir Badawi, said that the team is set to surprise lots of people this season.
Badawi, who said that seventeen of the players unveiled are new players, added that eighteen of them are old players.
He called on the team’s coach to work on the players, especially, the strikers to ensure good results, saying that connection between midfielders and attackers are necessary to achieve goal harvest.
The team’s general manager, who called for better training field for his players, noted that the one they use presently needs urgent maintenance.
He maintained that the players showed the stuff they are made of in superlative performances recorded during the playing tours to some states of the federation.
On his part, the coach of the Kwara United FC, Tunde Sanni, said that the team was ready for the season with quality players, adding that the team can now boast of capable strikers.
The event was also witnessed by the team’s psychologist, Yomi Vincent, while the players were led by the Assistant Captain, Kabiru Mohammed.
