The Katsina State Government has approved the training of all administrative staff of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) across the 34 local education authorities (LEAs) of the state.
Dr. Kabir Magaji, the Executive Chairman of the Board, announced this during the opening of a two-day training for principal personnel officers and staff officers at the Board Headquarters in Katsina.
According to a statement by Media Assistant to the Katsina State Governor, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Bashir Yau, Dr. Kabir Magaji explained that the concurrent training sessions, taking place across the state, cover administrative and communication skills aimed at enhancing effective service delivery.
The Chairman encouraged the participants to recognize that this training is the first of its kind in the state and to remain dedicated to achieving the desired objectives.
He urged them to undergo an attitudinal change with sincerity and dedication to their duties to strengthen the system and improve the education sector in the state.
Dr. Isah Idris Zakari, the Board Secretary, in his presentation at the event, emphasized that the participants are the custodians of the Board’s sensitive data, stressing the need for attentiveness and acquisition of knowledge to ensure effective service delivery.
