A Concerned Citizen residing in Katsina, Alhaji Abbati Abdulkarim has appealed to the state government to change the time of curfew to start from 9:00pm instead of 7:00pm.
Alhaji Abbati Abdulkarim who is also the chairman Metal Workers Association Katsina made the call in an interview with our Reporter Aminu Musa Bukar, on the recent curfew imposed as a result of protest organized by some youth.
According to Alhaji Abbati Abdulkarim by extending the time, it will enable people especially Muslims to observe their Isha’I Prayer at the mosque and have time to return home.
He spoke extensively on the importance of extending the time and ensuring security prevail in Katsina state and the country as a whole.
He described the speech by President Tinubu as part of his commitment in having listening ears to the masses.
The Chairman metal workers association, urged people of the state to continue being law abiding during the curfew.
Alhaji Abbati Abdulkarim appealed to the people of the state to continue praying to Almighty Allah to intervene in Addressing security challenges facing some part of the state as well as hardship in the country.
It could be recalled that the state government imposed 12 hour curfew in 33 local government while Dutsinma 24 hour as a result of the nationwide Protest which began on Thursday last week.
