The Jigawa State Government has inaugurated Organizing Committee for the National Orphans Qur’anic Recitation Competition scheduled to hold between the 2nd to 12th August,2024.
This is contained in a press statement by the National Public Relation Officer of
Aytam Global Care Charity Foundation Muhammed Halilu Ibrahim who reiterated commitment to the successful hosting of the third edition of the annual event.
Inaugurating the Committee Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Umar Namadi represented by the Executive Secretary of the State Bureau of Education, Dr. Mubarak Abdulwahab Hassan charged members to live above board.
The Governor who noted that the members were carefully selected considering their track record of experience, honesty and hard work. He said the state government will provide them with all the necessary logistics to effectively discharge the assignment.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony on behalf of the National Aytam Global Charity Care Foundation National Vice Chairman of the Organization Malam Nura Alkali Talatar Mafara appreciated the Jigawa State Government for accepting to host the competition.
Malam Alkali who congratulated members of the Committee, however appealed to them to give special attention to the venue of the competition, accommodation and feeding of participants for a hitch free exercise.
The fourteen man Committee is chaired by Dr. Kadi Bala Musa Kazaure while Muhammad Bn. Abdulhamid serves as Secretary General.
Other members are Dr. Mubarak Abdulwahab Hassan, Dr. Salisu Ismail, Malam Shisu Ibrahim Doko, Malam Sani Maje Saleh and Hon. Ahmad Saleh Birniwa.
The remaining are Jibril Umar Zakar, Rabi’u Muhammad, Hajiya T. Abdulwhab, Hajiya Zainab Shuaibu Rabo and Hajiya Hauwa Garba.
The third edition of the annual National Competition tagged “Jigawa 2024” is expected to get participants from across the country.
