About 1140 Corp Members Deployed to Katsina

About 1140 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members have been deployed to Katsina State for 2024 Batch B stream 1 orientation course.

The NYSC State Coordinator Hajiya Aisha Muhammad stated this during the swearing in ceremony of the Corp Members at NYSC Permanent orientation Camp along Mani Road, Katsina.

The State coordinator who congratulated Corp members for the successful completion of their academic pursuits at various Higher institutions charged them to participate fully in all camp activities.

According to her, the NYSC has four cardinal programmes which include, orientation course, Primary Assignment, community development service and winding up and passing out.

Hajiya Aisha Muhammad added that, there are also skill acquisition and entrepreneurial development which occupied one third of the orientation exercises is deliberately a paradigm shift by NYSC management to ensure that Corp members acquire one or two skills before the end of orientation.

The state coordinator charged them to be security conscious and to avoid night journey.

Governor Dikko Umar Radda represented by the Special Adviser Student matters Muhammad Nuhu Na gaske who welcome the Corp members for being deployed to Katsina State, home of hospitality, assured them the government support throughout their service year.

He called on MDAs not to reject any Corp member posted to their ministry or agency.

He also assured them the security of their lives and properties throughout their stay in the state.

Katsina State chief judge Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar perform the swearing in ceremony.
