Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to bringing quality healthcare closer to rural communities.
He reiterated this during an inspection visit to the ongoing expansion project at the Faskari Healthcare Center, which is being upgraded to a General Hospital.
The Governor expressed satisfaction with the project’s progress and quality of work.
He stressed the importance of timely completion and urged the contractor to expedite the construction process to allow for the hospital’s full operation.
Governor Radda was accompanied in the inspection by a project official, Mamud Umar, who provided a detailed tour.
He also demonstrated his compassion by visiting patients and offering financial support to alleviate their medical expenses.
Governor Radda also took time to visit some patients admitted to the hospital and provided them with financial support to address their medical needs.
Similarly the Governor inspected the ongoing Katsina Ring Road destination project, a key initiative to expand the state capital.
The project, which commenced at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University junction, is being undertaken by CCECC, a reputable Chinese construction and engineering company.
A company representative, Mr. Adamu Malgwi, briefed Governor Radda on the project’s progress. He reported that significant progress had been made, with clearing and sand filling completed for approximately 2.5 kilometers, extending to the Batagarawa township road.
