Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Katsina State Council, has eulogized the Governor – Elect of the state, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, on his victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election.
The Chairman of the Congress, Comrade Hussaini Hamisu Yanduna, in a press statement on Tuesday, described the success of Dr. Radda and Deputy Governor – Elect, Hon. Faruk Lawal Jobe, as an acknowledgement of the trust and confidence reposed in the duo by people of the state, particularly the electorate.
Yanduna equally expressed the workers’ optimism that Dr. Radda and Hon. Jobe would get the right people to assist them in fulfilling their electoral promises.
In his words: “We expect that His Excellency will appoint the good hands among his political allies who can help and assist him generate robust policy initiatives that can help the administration achieve optimally especially in security, health, education, agriculture and youth empowerment among others.”
The NLC boss also pledged the assurances of the best regards and support of the workers of the state, as anticipated of them, to bring their vast experience to bear in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities.
While felicitating with the incoming government, he prayed Almighty to bless the administration with wisdom, strength and capacity to deliver.
