***MASARI DECLARES TWO DAY WORK FREE

President Muhammad Buhari is set to pay a two day official visit to his home state, Katsina, this Thursday and Friday, January 26th and 27th.

Already, the State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has declared the two days as work free for the state public servants to join other citizens in receiving the President.

A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Home Affairs in Katsina, Sank Bala Kabomo, added that the public holiday would not affect federal public servants, financial institutions and essential service providers.

Indications are that the state capital will turn a Mecca of sort in the two days as Katsina people converge on the ancient city to give President Buhari a rousing reception.
