Thre BBC News held a debate session this Monday for the governorship candidates of four major political parties in Katsina State. Dr. Jaafar Jino of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Engr. Nura Khalil of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Sen. Yakubu Lado of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Dr. Dikko Radda of the All progressive Congress (APC) participated in the lively debate moderated by Umaima Sani – Abdulmuminu of the BBC Hausa Service.

Each of the governorship standard bearers spoke on education, security, agriculture, economy, health, youths and women empowerment among others and proffered solutions he will adopt, if elected, to chart paths to improve the lives of the people of Katsina.
