The campaign train of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Thursday left Sabuwa Local Government Area for Funtua on its way to Bakori Local Government Area in continuation of its tour led by the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Umar Dikko Radda.

KATSINA MIRROR learnt that members of the team conducted their trips safely in Sabuwa and were in high spirit to take their “Building Your Future” campaign ahead of this year’s polls to nooks and crannies of the state.

Similarly, the gubernatorial candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Yakubu Danmarke Lado, took party’s campaign rally from Kankia Local Government Area yesterday and his train is expected to berth in Jibiya Local Government Area this Friday.

Checks showed the PDP had conducted its “Recover Katsina State” tour of the 12 council areas in Katsina North Senatorial District and all had been set for its campaign flag off today in Katsina Central Senatorial District.
