DR. RADDA TO ESTABLISH AGRIC. PRODUCTS PROCESSING PLANT IN ƊANDUME
Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, the APC Katsina Gubernatorial Candidate, says he will set up an agricultural products processing plant in Ɗandume, if elected governor.
He disclosed at a campaign rally in Ɗandume town while addressing a huge crowd that turned out to receive him.
In a press statement by Ahmed Abdulkadir, Director, Media and Publicity, Katsina State APC Campaign Council, he said that he was aware that the people in Ɗandume were predominantly large scale farmers.
Dr. Radda said establishing a plant to process their products would not only preserve and save them from loss, but would also provide jobs for their unemployed youths. He also revealed that he would reintroduce extension services to enhance their farming activities. The candidate, similarly, noted that what the people needed was mechanized and modern farming methods to boost agricultural activities in the area.
The APC Katsina Gubernatorial Candidate, also, said he would build a bigger hospital for the community.
On security, the candidate disclosed that youths would be employed, trained and attached to security agents to fight insecurity in the area.
Earlier, the representative of the district head had appealed for the construction of a general hospital and a maize processing plant in the area.
